road safety

CLAA considers road safety a priority for drivers, bikers and pedestrians. Per a request to the county by CLAA:

• A traffic study was completed by the county between Elkhart Lake and Crystal Lake resulting in speed limits to and from Elkhart Lake  to be consistent at 25 mph.
• Additional signs promoting biker and pedestrian caution have been posted around the lake.
• Additional mowing of berms to aid pedestrians is being completed each summer.
